I managed to get quite a few LOs finished last week - 14 in total counting those at the Sunday crop day. Here are some I did for the Boutique's monthly challenges. The first one is Chelsea's 'Changes' challenge with min 50 words journaling (which I just scraped in)
The next was for Manon's Stash Stomper - had to use a sketch & some old chipboard - I used the oldest piece I own - & there's plenty more where that comes from LOL And I love this diecut which is from the MME Stomp range.
The next lot were for Diva's monthly challenges. A quick one for Dannielle's Scraplift the Diva.
and a couple for Rach's A Year in Review sketch - I've been scrapping these for both 2009 & 2008, using photos that mostly haven't been scrapped before. And the smaller size is working really well. Woops the first one's a bit blurry!!!
This next one was a fun swap from Dannielle - she sent an envelope with a little bit of product to about 6 of us & then we all scrapped something, only adding photos & alphas. This is the 3rd month we've been doing it.
This last one was for a photo swap with my scrap group. Love how it turned out too!!
And the winner????????
Was this LO here I did for Emma's challenge at Savvy's Spring Fling Cybercrop. I loved all the LOs I scrapped that weekend, so I'm really chuffed that one was a winner. Thanks Sar & girls!!!
I also finished my 123 Lo last night but not exactly happy with it - so will look at doing 'something' with it tomorrow.
And in other exciting news...........I got my first stylist pack from Chelsea today & it's full of gorgeous gorgeousness!!!!!

BUSY WEEKEND
While the boys are away, Mummy gets to.....scrap. Two days of scrapping at Miss T's, trying to get my yearly album up to date. Still have a bit to do but it's looking alot more complete than what it was. And it was good getting to spend time with Teresa & Lois, and then Robyn on Saturday.
Friday night I went to a 'Girl's night In' organised by my Friday Morning Cardmaking mate, the beautiful Rechelle. She went to so much trouble organising the night - her house was decorated in pink, there was pink food & pink champagne. Lots of raffle prizes all wrapped beautifully - all donated, so the money raised will be all profit to got to the Breast Cancer Foundation. There was a lovely showing of Intimo lingerie, by the equally lovely Sam - I ordered a new everyday bra - and she was donating some of her profits as well.
It was a lovely night & I was so glad for Rechelle that lots of her friends came out to support her & the cause of raising money for BC research. And being someone who is very close to that particular cause, I truly appreciate what she has accomplished. This girl has a beautiful soul!!!
Saturday evening was spent having another girly night in with just me & Fliss home. So we spoilt ourselves with Noodle box & some DVDs. We watched 'The Boat That Rocked' which was pretty funny & 'Duplicity' with the beautiful pairing of Clive Owen & Julia Roberts. It was a bit hard to follow but had a good ending - Fliss fell asleep - she was getting sick of the backwards/forwards nature of the plot.
Today I got to sleep in a little, before tidying the house & then heading out for lunch with the scrapping girls, to organise details for our weekend away in a fortnight. We had a nice lunch at 'Syrup' in Lorn, where I had the Gourmet Salad with chicken & tempura prawns which was pretty yum all round.
It's always fun catching up with the girls (but I missed you Lois!) & we should have a good weekend down in the Southern Highlands.
Finished off some challenges tonight, will save them to post tomorrow. Off to snoozy land now.

SPRING FLING LOs
I was really happy to get 4 out of the 5 challenges completed for Scrapbook Savvy's cybercrop last weekend & I love all four of them.
First off was Mel's Challenge to use the word 'spring', flowers & colours that remind us of spring. I decided to use 8 1/2 x 11 - I seem to scrap alot quicker in that size.
Next was Lisa's Challenge using the criteria of stitching, polka dots, rubons, ink, grosgrain ribbon & no cardstock.
The 3rd one is from Emma & the criteria depended on the numbers in your year of birth - I had to use a handmade journal spot, transparency, punched shape & stars. Again I went with the smaller size for this one.
And the last one was Sar's Blind Scrap, which I got done at the crop day last Sunday.
Off to cross some more off my list!!!

WHAT A WEIRD DAY
And it all started with Riley jumping out of bed & running in to tell us "look out the window, the sky is red!!!" Pulling back the curtains confirmed his statement & we raced out to take some photos from our front verandah.
The orange glow stuck around until late in the day, even with the wind blowing a gale. I could smell & feel the dust all through the house, even with it all shut up & my face is still itchy too. I wish we could get some rain now & I pray that the farmers will be relieved with some shortly.
I want to start on some monthly challenges tomorrow, before I begin my official scrapping duties for the Boutique next week :)

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!
This was the announcement made by Chels at ScrapBoutique today.
But wait...... there's more!!!!
We also have a another addition to our stylist team!! We are going to have a "Guest Stylist" every 3 months, who will work together with our stylist team, in inspiring and challenging all of us.
The Best part is...... that our Guest Stylist will be chosen by me, from our regular forum participants!! How good is that!
Our First Guest Stylist, who will be with us from October through December is......
Amanda O'Donnell !!! Yay! Well done Amanda, and I look forward to having you on the team for the next 3 months
Congratulations to Emma on being chosen as the new Boutique stylist. I think she'll be lots of fun & is seriously talented.
Of course I was a little disappointed about missing out but I am super excited about the new position that Chelsea has come up with. And a little nervous LOL
OK onto a LO share....... these are the 3 Los I finished for the Boutique Cybercrop on the weekend. The first one was for Liz's sketch challenge:
The next was for Chels' Changeover Challenge where we had to swap criteria with another person. I drew Chelsea's pretty combo of pink, aqua & buttons.
And lastly Manon's Roast LO using Sharon's criteria of Autumn colours, paint & flowers.
We had to use a long title on the Roast LO & I was stuck on it for ages but this tune from a TV ad kept popping up, so I went with it. LOL The photo of Riley was taken at school as a fundraiser for the school fair. Can't remember the lady's name to give her credit here but I can say she is an awesome photographer cause she has captured my boy perfectly!!!
I've also finished 3 LOs for Savvy's spring fling - will share them at the end of the week.

SCRAPPY SUNDAY
Had a wonderful time at Chelsea's today with lots of the boutique girls. Managed to get 3 LOs virtually finished & had a little shop around all the gorgeous stock that Chels keeps. Riley got to have a day out with me & he had a great time playing & swimming with the other kids!!!
Now I'm soooooo tired - I'll have to unpack my stuff tomorrow. Hopefully I might be able to squeeze in some more scrapping.

SATURDAY NIGHT
And I'm madly trying to get some stuff together to take to the Crop day at Chelsea's tomorrow. Didn't get to complete Manon's Roast or Sar's Blind scrap....so I've printed the instructions & hopefully will get them done on Sunday. BUT I finished the Changeover Challenge at the Boutique . I swapped criteria with Chelsea so I get to scrap her pretty combination of pink, aqua & buttons. I always struggle a bit with aqua, never quite sure what the correct shade is but anyways I've come up with a very girly LO for me, of me - surprise, surprise!!!!
Riley & I went to see the movie 'Aliens in the Attic' this afternoon. It was quite funny & we pigged out on popcorn & maltesers!!! Afterwards he helped me with the groceries. Amazingly he managed to sneak a few more treats into the trolley.......
Must away - soooooo looking forward to tomorrow.

LAYOUT SHARE
These are the LOs I finished for Divas Crazy Crop last week. The first one was Rach's Challenge to scraplift one of her LOs, using striped pp & a 5x7 photo.
And this is my double for Dan's Challenge which had to have the title Boy Oh Boy. I was stoked with it in the end cause I got to use up lots of little photos from our holiday last year.
This gorgeous little number I actually whipped up in just over half an hour!!!! The benefits in scrapping 8.5 x 11 I think. It was for the Boss Lady Michelle's Challenge using the colours pink, white & black with a stamped background. Once I picked the pps to use I literally just put it together with stuff that was on my desk. And the DT must have liked it too - cause I WON the challenge!!! Yay!!!
These are the LOs I did in Peta's class yesterday. I wasn't too keen on the sneek peak of the colours but once I saw them together they looked great!!! And you've gotta love that little bit of red!!! I just need to journal on this first one.
The last one was a quick Blind Challenge, that Peta actually completed along with us:) Used the last random photos I had from Noonaweena for it.
This next one was from a monthly swap some of us have been participating in at Divas. The product was from Helen & the only thing you could add was alphas. I loved the sunny pps she sent & I used some photos of the girls at my Scrap Class.
And the final LO is my entry for this months Colour Challenge at Divas. Dannielle set the pretty combo of aqua, orange & white, & I used some photos of the awesome tea cosies at the Morpeth Teapot Festival in August.
That's my week's worth of creating - now to start on the next lot of challenges!!!

SCRAPPY WEDNESDAY
We had a great day at Peta's today - she is such a gracious, welcoming host - and we got to complete 3 awesome LOs using some bright papers from Rouge De Garance & October Afternoon. Love my LOs, love spending time with like minded women, love that they are so funny!!!!!!
Don't forget to check out these great sites which are giving away some very generous blog candy this month - Scrap the Boys and White With 1.
Off to get tea ready & then to tackle the mountain of ironing, that seems to get bigger every day :(

PHOTOS, PHOTOS, EVERYWHERE!!!
I'm surrounded by photos at the moment - I cleaned off my scrap desk & decided it was time to do something to organise all the photo envelopes that are continually falling off the edge. Not sure what to do with them all - I would appreciate some good tips!!!
Off to Peta's tomorrow with my buddy Lois - so looking forward to some laughs with the girls & Peta always teaches simple, awesome LOs. So I better get these photos sorted so I have some to take with me.
Got some news this arvo that has devastated me in lots of ways. I'm very sad & disappointed with someone close to me. But that's a story for another day :(

SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS
I pinched this from Kate's blog today. It's a cause close to my heart, in more ways than one!!!
And then there is this one from Scrapbook Savvy
ScrapBoutique's September Cybercrop is also on this weekend - the theme is "Changes" - right up my alley!!!
Looks like I might be having a very scrappy weekend.

HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
At the Spring Fair today - lucky for me, the stall I was working was in the shade. Riley had a ball on the rides - Mummy didn't have a ball, having to line up for over half an hour to get him a slushy :(
I have a double LO laid out on my desk - hoping to get some time tomorrow to finish it in time for the end of Divas' Crazy Crop. I struggle big time with doubles, so I'm lifting a previous LO design.
And my Avon order is packed ready for delivery on Monday.

THEY'RE GONE
The Knights' season is finished after a 26:12 loss to the Bulldogs. They just couldn't get enough points on the board although their defence was pretty awesome. Looks like I'll be back to supporting the Dragons now!!!!!
Had a fun night with the girls last night - lots of laughs & a cute little album to boot. I seriously need a week just to finish off my album projects at the moment.
No scrapping today - Riley had a party out at Seaham this morning and in the time that he was gone, I cleaned out the big cupboards in the rumpus room. Took 5 boxes of stuff up to the school for the trash/treasure stall tomorrow, at the Spring Fair.
And talking of spring, what a beautiful day it was today!!! I'm itching to do some spring cleaning & declutter this house. Cleaning out cupboards has put me in the mood to pack the whole house up. We'll see what the next week brings.

CLASS TONIGHT
At Miss T's with the TP girls. We are making a Friendship album & I haven't packed my stuff yet!!!
I have been at Friday morning craft & finished 3 cards, 2 using images copied onto canvas, that came up really nicely. Thanks Mel for sharing!!!!
Am still working on the challenges for Divas. Hope to get at least three of them done.
And I need to cook tea for two before I leave this arvo - so better get to it!!!

SOME SCRAPPING
I finally did some scrapping yesterday. Finished my 123Challenge sample - plain & simple this month
and also my Chinese Whispers for Divas which I can't show yet of course. And I'm nearly finished Challenge 3 for the Divas Crazy Cropping week. Oh, and I managed to complete Peta's Blind Challenge after alot of chatting & laughing at the crazy girls in the chatroom.
Off to help Riley with his assignment for the last time YIPPEE.

ANOTHER WINNER
Was lucky enough to have my LO chosen as the winner for ScrapBoutique's August Stash Stomper. We had to use a sketch & our cherished papers. I've used the gorgeous October Afternoon Cherry Hill range & some photos of Riley eating fairy floss.
Whoa that's a bit big - I'm still getting used to uploading images LOL
OK I'm off to Peta's Place for some blind scrapping. Check her great site out here AND make sure to check out the sale on this month.

BUSY TUESDAY
I've had a busy day today - a typical Tuesday starting with Bowling this morning (2 out of 3 games over average yay!), banking & shopping, home for lunch with Jamie & then up to school for reading with Riley's class. Helped Riley do some more of his assignment on the Great Barrier Reef, after school - still wondering why 8 year olds get assignments????? - & I completed an Avon order due tomorrow. And then it was out for dinner with the girls from Bosom Buddies, my BC support group.
And tonight I was brave enough to apply for the Stylist position Chelsea has advertised at Scrapboutique . Wish me luck!!!

39 LAYOUTS
Yep I completed a total of 39 LO's over the past six weeks, that's an average over 6 per week, not bad going, seeing as I worked on my class samples for the majority of the month of August. Only just got the monthly challenges for ScrapBoutique and Scrapbook Divas done at the last minute.
And I was stoked to have won Jo's Cybercop Challenge at the Boutique with this LO. This month's theme was travel so I got to scrap another of Josh's Contiki photos.
Just have to finish cleaning off my desk & then hopefully tomorrow I can get started on this month's challenges. Also have my sample for 123 Challenge to complete, as well as a Chinese Whispers LO for Divas.
Will upload some photos from our weekend away at Shoal Bay later. Had a nice time & ate way too much food......better get back on the shakes tomorrow too!!!

LOTS TO DO
and not enough time to get it done. The loungeroom has been turned upside down for Fliss' Yr 12 Art project due on Monday. At least she has picked up some interest in it today & hopefully it will be finished in time.
I have groceries to put away, dinner to cook & washing to fold - why I am I on here??????
Also have a list of scrapping challenges to get started on - but don't like my chances there cause my desk is covered in wooden leaves & sawdust!!!
Maybe I'll go & have a sleep instead.
