And here's my little schoolboy all ready for his first day back last Thursday. Can't believe that after 17 years of schooling, we've still got another 8 years to go!!!!!

WOW....A NEW MONTH
And with the beginning of a new month, comes lots of new challenges at all my favourite forums :)
Scrap the Girls February challenge is.......
Use the following quote for inspiration
"Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. Love like you've never been hurt and live like it's heaven on Earth." — Mark Twain
Extra criteria - Add hearts
And here is my first CT sample page:

And I'll be doing all the challenges here at ScrapBoutique and Scrapbook Divas, as well as the new sketch challenge at Scrapbooking from Scratch.
Don't forget to check out Chelsea's sale at ScrapBoutique. There are some enormous bargains to be had there!!!!!!!!!!
I managed to get these few challenges done by the end of January. This first one was for Karen's 'Less is More' challenge at the Boutique, using just one sheet of p/p or c/s, one alpha & one embellishment, and using lots of doodling & hand journalling.

This one was Nat's Colour Challenge (brown & blue)at Diva's.

The Mystery Challenge was also set by Nat, had to use at least 10 different scraps of p/p & a mixed alpha title for this one.

And the last one was a sketch from Michelle.

(Not sure why those photos look so crooked on that LO cause they're not IRL???)
Lots of medical appointments this week - hopefully we'll be closer to an answer by the end of it.

MY BABY GIRL
Turns 18 today - well officially tonight at 10.26pm that is. She has been counting down the days & was pretty excited this morning, even though she had to get up early to go to the 'Big Day Out' in Sydney, which her big brother bought her a ticket for.
Here they are at 7.15am raring to go - don't think you would miss them in their brights!!!!!!!

SICK OF BEING SICK
And that's all I've got to say about it:(
These are the last lot of challenges I got finished for
Scrapz Biggest Loser
Set of cards with cut out embellishments.

Had to use a stamped/inked background for this one.

This challenge was for 2 LOs using the same design.

This challenge was to use that 'must have' embellishment - I've had this number corner for ages - I like how this LO turned out!!!

Had to use journal cards & stickers for this one.

This is my entry for the January Scrap the Girls challenge. I love doing Kate's sketches & this one is doubly good cause you can also enter it to win over at Scrapbooking from Scratch

Cybercrop at ScrapBoutique this weekend.

THE BEST TONIC
is definitely friendship - particularly the friendship of my scrapping girls. And three of my lovely scrapping friends came to scrap with me on Thursday. Thanks for making my day Lois, Teresa & Kim *mwah*

I've signed up for a 52 Week Album that Nat is organising at Scrapbook Divas. I've managed to take a photo each day this week, so am ready to do my first LO now. Not sure what format it's going to take but I will probably scrap in 8.5 x 11 I think, carrying on from last year's 'A year in Review' album.
I am still playing along at Scrapz.biz with the Biggest Loser challenges. The girls have put lots of thought into all the challenges & although I have a couple of days to catch up on, I am really enjoying the daily prompts & what I am creating. I don't think I've ever made so many cards in one week before!!!!
I've been to Maitland today for xrays on my back/hip & tomorrow I have my first osteopath appointment. Hopefully, this time next week I will have a clearer picture of what exactly is giving me so much pain. And whilst walking through the mall I had a quick look in the new scrapbook shop there - lots of nice new stock - so might be making a trip back there some time soon.
OK scrapping is on my agenda for tonight cause looks like I'll be home alone for most of it!!!!!!!!!!!
