END OF THE MONTH

I don't feel like I've actually scrapped alot this month, but the big pile of LOs on my desk, waiting to be filed, tells me otherwise!!!!
I managed to finish 16 LOs & half my 2009 Christmas album, on our weekend away up at the Hut with the TickLed Pink girls. It was a great, relaxing time in a beautiful, natural setting. I haven't photographed all my LOs yet but these couple I did for challenges at ScrapBoutique.
The Stylist challenge was a LO about you & music:

And the Stash Stomper was multiple photos using a sketch from Manon:

Have just about finished sorting my scrap space - it's been such a big job but I wanted to do it properly, so it has taken a bit longer than what I anticipated.

BOOTCAMP

Last month I signed up for the new Bootcamp at Blue Bazaar & these are my first 5 LOs using the Pagemaps sketches & prompts provided.
BC#1 A Day In Your Life

BC#2 Holiday/Travel

BC#3 Family Traditions

BC#4 Stripes & Dots

BC#5 Double LO

Have also completed 4 of the next 5 sketches but haven't photographed them yet.

I'm still plugging away at sorting my scrapping area - I have a big box of stuff ready to take into Riley's teacher - hopefully she can put it to good use for craft lessons. It took me all this afternoon to sort ribbons & flowers & buttons. I'm planning to be finished on Wednesday, so I can do some actual scrapping!!!!

LUCKY ME

Kate has asked me to stay on the Creative Team at Scrap the Girls along with these awesome girls:

Jen Hall
Kerry Murray
Kate McCulloch
Michelle Jamieson
Lauren Bell
Peta MacBeth
Kate Middleton

And of course we have a great monthly challenge as well…..

The August challenge is: Girls getting messy! Use your less than lady-like photos (some examples might be a bad hair day, mud & dirt, food disasters, tantrums etc - use your imagination!)

Include a "messy" technique on your page, such as inking, glimmermisting or painting.

Remember your pages must be girls only - no boys allowed! Please email your layout entries to scrapthegirls@bigpond.com in jpeg format, no bigger than 600x600 – please re-name your picture file with YOUR name! Entries close midnight 31st August 2010.

And here's my messy sample:

Thanks Lois for letting me use another photo of you & Charlee!!!

This next lot are bonus LOs designed by Teresa for our Monthly album classes.

And these couple are just because LOs from June.

Finally, these were from Peta's June class:

So now I'm nearly up to date with show & tell!!!!!

TIME FLYING BY

Gosh......just where are the days going.......nearly 2 weeks has passed since my last blog entry......& now we're into another new month.

OK.....getting back to the charity crop day in July - I had a lovely day with Lois & Michelle & met new friends in Annie, Donna & Mandy. Also caught up with lots of older acquaintances from Megastore days. Cassie & her helpers did a marvelous job in organising the day & I was lucky enough to win a couple of prizes too!!!

These are the other LOs I finished on the day.

Some were scraplifts & all were scrapped using my kits that I have saved for crop days etc.

Also in July, Chelsea hosted a crop day in the holidays - Lois & I went down for some scrapping with Chels, Sav & Ros & met Toni & Lisa for the first time IRL!!!!
Had a lovely & productive day again, completing 4 LOS all together.

I am really enjoying scrapping with friends at the moment - I seem to get alot more done then what I do at home.

These were the other challenge LOs I did for the Boutique Cybercrop. The first one was for Manon's Roast.

Sharon's Colour Challenge.

Chelsea's Speed Scrap

Hmmmm that will do for one post I think!!!! More to come when I photograph some LOs from Peta's classes last month.
