YOUR BEST LIFE

I have a book on my bedside table that I haven't read yet - it's been sitting there for 12 months at least. It's called 'Live Your Best Life!'. An integrated guide to diet, happiness and life. I don't know why I haven't read it yet but I do know I certainly haven't been living my best life!!!!! I hope in light of the news I've received recently, that it's not too late to start living my best life. After all, I owe it to myself & those that I love.

Back later with some LOs - blogger isn't playing nice now!!!

CRAZY CROP WEEK

At Scrapbook Divas.
Head on over & check out Nat's challenge for Day 1.

I scrapped a few LOs over the weekend, mostly for Divas challenges. Decided to get an early start on my monthly challenges this month & the Boutique challenges are next on my list.

The card is for Nat's Mystery Challenge Sketch. Cards are really not my thing but I do try & attempt them. This one's pretty basic using some scraps from my desk.

This LO is Helen's Product/Technique Challenge - using no patterned paper. I've used some of the new Generation Z transparency & some journal stickers & I love how it turned out. Teresa snapped this photo of Riley & I, on the sly.

The next one is Michelle's Colour challenge - brick red, sky blue, lemon & chocolate. I'm pretty happy with this one too!!!

I wasn't able to do Anthea's free class live at Scrapbook Savvy but I loved the finished LOs, so decided to do this one with some photos of Jamie & I at Nathan & Sally's wedding.

And the last one was Sar's Blind Scrap for Febuary's CC at Savvy. The lace I used is about 30 years old, from my childhood sewing box. Also used up some very old rubons - I love using old stuff at the moment.

Not long now til Kate's retreat - my first for the year - can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SCRAP THE GIRLS

The new challenge for March is up at Scrap the Girls.
Here's what Kate has to say:

March – the month of the Oscars, which got me thinking about my favourite Girly movies. They don't get much better than Sex and the City!

The challenge.....Please use the following picture as inspiration for your LO – it could be the colours, the fashion, the women in your life etc.......
Extra criteria – use the word friend, friendship or friends in your title

When you email your LO to scrapthegirls@bigpond.com please explain how you have drawn inspiration from this picture.

There are some really gorgeous LOs from the CT girls, do yourself a favour & check them out today. You're sure to be truly inspired!!!!!!!!!!!

And this was my sample LO, featuring my own sexy girls from the city LOL & drawing inspiration from the subtle colour scheme, with that big splash of coral.

Have a great Monday everyone - it's back to the ironing board for me - yayyyyy!!!

SEVEN IN A ROW!!!!

It appears that my scrappy week has continued with me rolling out some more challenge LOs before the end of the month.
Three on Friday:

1) Manon's Inspiration Challenge at ScrapBoutique.

2) Michelle's Sketch Challenge at Scrapbook Divas.

3) Nat's Technique Challenge using handmade buttons, also at Divas.

Three again on Saturday:

1) The monthly sketch challenge at Scrapbooking From Scratch.

2) Teresa's Bonus LO from our monthly album class.

3)Kayla's Colour Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy.

And one today, for Anthea's Sketch Challenge, again at Savvy.

I guess it helps that Jamie & Riley have been away at the Van all weekend, & Joshua & Felicity have been doing their own thing, so that's left me lots of time to scrap. I also managed to get all the washing done & had lunch out today with TP girls, Teresa, Kelly, Mellissa & Erin. My first experience of Yum-Cha - still haven't decided if I really liked it or not?????

And of course, tomorrow being the 1st of March means.......lots of new challenges!!!
